ISRO/ASI Sponsors Students to participate in 61st IAC |

Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS), Govt. of India jointly with Astronautical Society of India (ASI), intends to sponsor a few students to participate in 61st International Astronautical Congress (61st IAC) to be held in Prague, Czech Republic during September 27 to October 1, 2010. This annual global space event is organized by International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and Czech Space Office with a theme “Space for Human benefits and exploration”.
Students meeting the following two major criteria (both) are eligible for consideration of this sponsorship:
(i) Whose paper (as first author) is accepted for presentation in the 61st IAC.
(ii) Who has not been sponsored by ISRO/ASI for this purpose on earlier occasion.

The sponsorship includes to and fro excursion fare air ticket, shared accommodation and living expenses as per the norms. The sponsorship does not include expenditure pertaining to obtaining passport, visa and Travel/medical insurance.

Much awaited VIGNAN YUVTARANG 2010 event started Yesterday (Mar 19th) at Vignan's IIT campus here at Vizag and completed on Mar 21st,2010.
A 3 day national fest started at today at vignans institute of information technology i.e 19th MARCH 2010. The inaugural function started at 10 o clock AM.Then followed by events.Students from various colleges across the country participated in this event.
Key highlights of this event were, RockBand, Vignan's Premiere League and few more technical sessions.

Mumbai- The enterpreneur cell of IIT Bombay organised its annual flagship event E-Summit 2010 on Sunday, 7th February. During the day long networking forum small enterpreneur eager to make it big attended panel discussions,workshops along with intensive mentoring sessions.

 Edupeet started a student club @ Vignan’s Institute of Information Technology, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. On the same day, Edupeet entered into an MOU with VIIT to provide assistance in Campus Placements, Industrial Training and Academic Projects for the students @ VIIT.
